Customer buys buckwheat oats at one of the grocery stores in Omsk. According to the Russian Ministry of Agriculture, as of July 31, the average consumer price for buckwheat in Russia was 68.7 rubles per kilo, down 19.1% from January. The good harvest of buckwheat in Russia, along with last year's reserves, have led to a gradual decline in prices for this crop.
