Artists dressed in Chuvash national costumes lead a round dance during Uyav, the republican holiday of Chuvash culture, in the village of Aksubayevo, Russia's Republic of Tatarstan. Traditionally, the holiday is based on communication, unity of the Chuvash people and traditions, round dances and youth games, an appeal to the forces of nature with a request for a rich harvest and abundant rain. The Chuvash culture is represented at the festival - folk crafts, decorative and applied art products are available for visitors.
