In March 2018, ten activists of "Novoye Velichiye", including teenage girls, were arrested being alleged to have agreed on a revolution via social media and leafleting to overthrow the government. In August 2018, after big publicity of the controversial case 18-year-old Anna Pavlikova and 19-year-old Maria Dubovik were transferred from detention to house arrest.
