Chairman of the political council of Ukrainian party "Opposition Platform - For Life" Viktor Medvedchuk talks to the media after Ukrainian prisoners Dmitry Veliky, Yakov Veremeichik, Yakov Veremeichik and Maxim Goryainov were handed over to Ukraine in an act of goodwill, at the airport in Minsk, Belarus. Earlier Medvedchuk asked the leaders of the self-proclaimed people's republics of Donetsk and Luhansk to release several people who had been detained in the course of the conflict with Kiev. The DPR and LPR heads agreed with Medvedchuk’s initiative and pledged to release four detainees.
