A man receives the sacraments during the liturgy marking the 100th anniversary of the execution of the Romanov Royal family at the Basilica di San Nicola in Bari, Italy. After the 1917 Bolshevik Revolution the last Russian Tzar, Emperor Nicholai II, his wife Alexandra and their five children Olga, Tatiana, Maria, Anastasia, and Alexei were captured and killed in Yekaterinburg in summer 1918.
