People hold anti-U.S. banners as they take part in a rally to mark the 40th anniversary of the Iran hostage crisis, outside the former US embassy in Tehran, Iran. 52 Americans were held hostage for 444 days from November 4, 1979, to January 20, 1981, after a group of Iranian students supporting the Iranian Revolution, took over the U.S. Embassy in Tehran.
