Russian Foreign Ministry's spokeswoman Maria Zakharova, convicted Russian agent Maria Butina, who was released from a Florida prison and then deported by U.S. immigration officials, and her father Valery Butin speaks to the media upon Butina's arrival at Sheremetyevo International Airport outside Moscow, Russia. Butina was arrested by U.S. authorities on July 25, 2018, and held in solitary confinement until she signed a plea deal in December charging her with one count of conspiracy to act as a foreign agent without notifying the US Attorney General.
