Boris Shakhlin, the absolute 1960 Olympic champion. Won gold at the 1956 Olympics in vault, pommel-horse and horizontal bars exercises. Won gold in bar exercises at the 1964 Olympics. Silver medal winner in rings exercises and team combined events (the 1960 Olympics), and individual and team events (1964). Bronze medal winner in bar exercises (1960) and ring exercises (1964).
