The urban estate of the Karateyev-Morozov millionaire family, 10 Leontyevsky Lane, was built by architects Alexander Kaminsky and Adolf Erichson in 1896, sampling the eclectic style. Architect Fedor Schechtel designed the rooms of industrialist and philanthropist Ivan Morozov. The Sovinformburo news agency worked here during World War Two. The building belonged to the East German embassy since 1949, and later to the Cuban embassy. It houses several offices presently.
