An expedition member of the Russian Academy of Sciences' Institute of Archeology explores the Kil-Dere soil burial ground in the Inkerman valley near Sevastopol, Crimea, Russia. Russian archaeologists have discovered more than 60 gravestone stelae, which date back to the 1st-4th centuries AD, in one of the Roman Empire's necropolises near Sevastopol. This is the largest collection of stone sculptures of the Late Scythian culture that was found in the Crimea.
