The main entrance to the State Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow. The gallery was founded in 1856 by P.M.Tretyakov as a public museum of Russian art and presented as a gift to the city in 1892. Its facade, built in 1902-1904 to the design of V.M.Vasnetsov, has become the gallery's symbol.
