Microminiature artist Vladimir Aniskin, DMath, of the Institute for Theoretical and Applied Mechanics, Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Novosibirsk, is at his desk in his home. Mr Aniskin made a copy of the Olympic medal 2 mm in diameter and placed it onto a slice of cedar nut where he depicted the three Olympic mascots.
