A detail of the Amber Room created by modern artists and used to reconstruct the chamber. The room was stolen by the Nazis from Catherine Palace in St Petersburg in 1941, and taken to Koenigsberg, now the Russian enclave of Kaliningrad, where it disappeared in 1945.
