A monument to Polish convicts who died in Norilsk and other convict camps (Stanislaw Gerada, sculptor) is part of the Norilsk Calvary, a memorial complex at the Schmidt Mountain foot, on the site of a cemetery where convicts were buried during Norilsk non-ferrous metal combine construction in the years of Stalinist reprisals. The monument, on a concrete pedestal, represents a railroad track with crosses for sleepers.
