American actor John Malkovich and soprano Larisa Yudina rehearsing for The Infernal Comedy, a stageplay written by Michael Sturminger for one actor, two sopranos, and a baroque orchestra. The play, which will premiere at the Mariinsky Theater's concert hall during the White Night Stars festival, is based on real events and portrays Jack Unterweger, a serial killer who murdered prostitutes and became a journalist, a poet and minor celebrity after being convicted.
