On July 12, around 45 tonnes of aviation fuel had leaked from a pipeline owned by Norilsktransgaz, a subsidiary of Russian mining giant Norilsk Nickel, in Tukhard settlement situated some 70 km(43 miles) from Nornickel's Arctic port of Dudinka on the Yenisey river.
