Craftsman Maxim Svekla, left, and his son Vyacheslav are seen here in the village of Bolshoi Oyesh, Novosibirsk Region, next to a replica of the Katyusha multiple rocket launcher. Maxim makes full-size replicas of WWII military hardware. He follows the example of his father-in-law Vyacheslav Veryovochkin who started it over 20 years ago. The replicas of combat equipment made by the craftsmen are on display at museums, they are used as monuments and take part in holiday events and also participate in shooting films about the war.
