Police officers in riot gear block a road near the residence of the former Kyrgyz president Almazbek Atambayev, in the village of Koy Tash, outside capital Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. Kyrgyz security forces stormed the house of former president Almazbek Atambayev on August 7 but Atambayev’s supporters have surrounded the residence and repulsed an attack capturing several police officers and preventing the ex-president from being captured.
