Lunohod-2 - a second Soviet lunar remotely controlled self-propelled apparatus. It was desined for researching mechanical properties of lunar surface, photo and video shooting of the moon, carrying out experiments with terrestial laser telemeter, inspecting solar radiation and other research. On January 15, 1973, it was carried to the moon by automatic interplanetary station "Luna-21". Angular reflector for laser location.
