An Easter egg with a model of the monument to Alexander III. St. Petersburg. 1910. From a collection of Carl Faberge eggs made to order for the Russian emperors Alexander the Third and Nicholas the Second. A total of 50 eggs were fashioned for the Russian imperial family from 1885. Of these only 10 have survived in the Armory and the 11th, unfinished, was recently discovered in the stocks of the Fersman Mineralogy Museum. The exhibition "Faberge Easter Gifts" in the Assumptipon Belfry of the Moscow Kremlin museums.
