Models of Angara launch vehicles at the Khrunichev State Research And Production Space Center. A meeting of the Government's Defense Industry Commission discussed preparations for the first launch of the dual-purpose Angara rocket. The Angara family includes several rather promising light, medium and heavy rockets with a maximum lift-off weight of 773 metric tons. The maximum 24.5 metric ton payload can be inserted into 200-kilometer orbits.
