Cut-diamond buckle-agraffe [Silver, gold] from the Russian Diamond Fund. Length, 25 centimeters; width, 8-11 centimeters. Made by jeweler I. Posier about 1750. This buckle-agraffe, which is shaped like a bow, comprises three magnificent branches linked in the middle and decorated with Indian and Brazilian diamonds. It belonged to Russian Empress Yelizaveta Petrovna and was used as a coronation-gown pin.
